Jean-Baptiste Le Cocq, born in 1974 in Bourges, France, is a notable figure in artistic and spiritual circles. His original name, Yohanan, which translates to “God’s Gift,” carries an authentic vibration that seems to guide his journey through life. Initially immersed in the study of naturopathy, his path took a significant turn towards the creative arts, leading him to make contributions in the theatre and film industries.
Over the years, Jean-Baptiste became a staunch advocate for emerging talents, organizing digital festivals and artistic events, serving as a launchpad for numerous promising artists. In 2008, he embraced the method of bio-alignment, a practice that, he believes, saved his life. For nearly seven years, he devoted himself to this practice before embarking on a journey of self-exploration and discovery that would span several years.
The year 2012 marked a critical turning point in his life when he faced a near-death experience that reignited his mediumship abilities. This experience encouraged him to heed the profound messages of his soul, opening him up to a spectrum of interests and explorations, including a deep connection with the Celtic tradition and Druidism. His journey led him to explore various sacred places around the world, deepening his understanding of spirituality, natural healing, and aromatherapy.
It was in Glastonbury, England, that Jean-Baptiste chose to settle, a place known for its mystical energies and thriving spiritual community. There, in 2017, alongside his wife, Anaïs Theyskens, he inaugurated a spiritual retreat center. Although the center closed its doors in 2019, Jean-Baptiste has not ceased to serve as a guide and mentor, assisting others on their personal and spiritual journeys.
In harmony with his passion for natural healing and aromatherapy, Jean-Baptiste created Pravaha Soul Perfumes, a collection of aromatic elixirs designed to capture the essence of various sacred places and spiritual guides he encountered during his travels.
Jean-Baptiste’s philosophy can be captured by a quote from Mark Twain that he holds dear: “They didn’t know it was impossible, so they did it.” Embodying a deep curiosity and passion for personal and spiritual development, he continues to inspire those who cross his path with his unwavering desire to share his knowledge and experiences.
With a spirit always ready to venture further, he encourages everyone to embrace life’s journey with joy and wonder, always with his personal mantra: “Let’s go… and enjoy it!”.
