Finding One’s Path: Job or Life’s Mission? In life, many of us are in search of that spark, that catalyst that gives meaning to our actions and shapes our professional identity. But how many of us truly embark on such diverse, enriching paths, only to eventually ask ourselves the crucial question to discovering purpose: am I driven by a mere job or by a true mission? Dive into my journey, where each turn, each experience, brought me closer to the answer.
Over the years, I’ve embraced various roles: naturopath, actor, director, event organizer, webmaster, group facilitator, producer, and even editor of a weekly newsletter. I’ve also dedicated myself to the practice of bio-alignment, mediumship, co-creating elixirs, before becoming the CEO of Pravaha, a company specialized in the production and sale of these same elixirs.
Each of these professional experiences was catalyzed by a defining event in my life.
The theatrical scene entered my life as a remedy for my shyness, following a trauma during a French oral exam. The inability to utter a word, despite solid preparation, led me to seek a solution, and I found refuge in theater.
Bio-alignment came to me after battling chronic back pain. After trying numerous therapeutic techniques, one session changed everything, igniting a passion for the discipline I wanted to share.
As for Pravaha, this adventure began after an inspiring encounter with the alchemist Mikael Zayat in Quebec. Pravaha was the name given to our journey, after feeling the energies of sacred sites worldwide.
These experiences seemed predestined, as if every circuit in my life was waiting for the flip of a switch. Now, it’s a time for reflection, for refocusing. I aim to turn off certain circuits to illuminate new ones with the resources already in place.
We might all ask ourselves: are we truly seeking a job or are we aspiring to a life’s mission? To find our path, several techniques can be explored: Deep meditation to reconnect with oneself. Orientation courses to define aspirations. Personality tests to understand strengths. Mentoring to be guided by lived experiences. An introspective diary to track the evolution of one’s thoughts. I currently feel the urge to hit the “pause” button, to assess what resonates within me.
What excites me right now, and what are my desires?
- Believing in the impossible, taking unprecedented paths, surprising and inspiring others, are elements that have always motivated me, as was the case for my walking marathons.
- In every place and at every moment, I wish to anchor myself in the present, to feel what resonates within me, and to listen to what my soul truly desires.
- Being wealthy also means this: Wealth, beyond traditional material and financial concepts, is a deep measure of the positive impact one can have on others. It’s not measured in terms of possessions, clicks, or followers, but by the ability to touch the hearts of many, inspire them, broaden their horizons, and open their field of possibilities. The true millionaire or billionaire is not defined by monetary wealth but by their tangible and positive influence on the lives of a million or a billion individuals.
- And this concept of wealth also encompasses the temporal, geographical, and financial freedom that allows me to fully operate on this path while cultivating inner joy and fulfilling my deep mission.
- For the rest, I place my trust in the universe and in my soul to show me the right way.
And you, what mission guides you? What is the inner force, the deep “why”, that could not only light up your path but also brighten that of so many others around you? In seeking our true purpose, we have the power to positively influence countless lives.
